NOV 6 Full dance floor for yesterday’s class. However we will miss Ellen as she heads down to Florida for the winter. Do send us some sunshine Ellen!
Some new dances with Fred teaching “Mamma Mia! Why Me?” a cute dance by Lee Hamilton from the UK which is doing very well, and “Thank You” by Tina Argyle which shot to the top of the Copperknob chart. You can get a free download of the music from the step sheet.
Ruurd taught “Queen of My Heart (Easy Waltz)” by Birthe Tygesen to a great track of the same name by Westlife. Amina got feet moving with “Do It Like This” by Jonno Liberman and “EZ Cake By the Ocean” by Sandy Goodman.Bobby Chong introduced the dances last week and everyone enjoyed them.Lavina Motamedi taught her lovely intermediate waltz “We Could Call It Love”, well received. I taught “Doing The Walk’ by Pim Van Grootel, Jef Camps and Roy Verdonk. This is becoming a classic on the dance floors and is danced all over the world.
Of course, there was plenty of open dance and we finished the night with “Ain’t Misbehavin'”. Indeed we all behave perfectly during class!!!
